FORT WAYNE RADIO CLUB AT THE 2015 FORT WAYNE HAMFEST:

Once again, we will have a raffle radio to be given away at the conclusion of the Hamfest for all that have renewed their memberships for 2016. Sign up and pay for next year’s membership and receive one free ticket for the drawing. Additional tickets can be purchased for $1 each. All regular, family, and student members are eligible for the drawing. Anyone that already has a 2016 paid membership (or life members) is already entered and can purchase additional tickets if they desire.

Here is the radio that will be raffled:  BRIDGECOM BCR-220 HANDI TALKIE

In addition to the 222 radio, the winner will also receive a mag mount antenna for 222 and a home station custom built “J-Pole” (end fed half wave) for 222.  The radio comes with a programming USB cable. Software is free on the internet. A speaker microphone is included, too!

CLUB TABLE RULES:

Members are invited to sell items on the club table. The only requirement is that the seller must put in at least one hour manning the table sometime during the weekend. Also, you must clearly indicate your equipments’ status and pricing. Always leave a means to contact you with questions as well.

AUCTION GEAR FOR SALE AT THE HAMFEST:

Several items from the recent FWRC on line auction did not sell, so they will be available at the Hamfest for all to see and bid on. The Yaesu FTDX-3000 complete station is for sale and the minimum price is $1800. If someone wishes to buy just the main radio, the price is $1600. The GAP Challenger antenna will not be at the Hamfest, but is still available for $250. Any remaining books will be at the Hamfest on a best offer basis.

PROMOTE THE HAMFEST!

If it is possible for you to do so, why not print out the Hamfest flyer from the ACARTS website and post it on a bulletin board where you work (after obtaining permission of course). This helps the Hamfest and Amateur Radio in general. Thanks.
