Hi. My name is Eric Olson, I’m a reporter at 21Alive WPTA-TV. I’ve taken up the hobby of working on vintage radios and I was told someone with your club might be able to advise me on some issues. Would you have a name and phone number I might contact or could you forward my phone number to that person? My phone is 760-5626. I’d appreciate any help I can get. I’d also like to know if anyone in the club sells vintage radios. Thanks so much.

Hello, I am looking for someone that can look at a vintage heathkit sb110 radio that doesn’t power up. Thank you.

Hello, I’m working on a project for my club (the Southwest Columbus HAM Radio Club in Ohio) to retransmit the ARRL Audio News through our repeater using a SignaLink connected to my computer and 2 meter rig. I saw on the ARRL website that your organization does retransmit this program and I just wondered how you accomplished it (what type of hardware/software used). Any information you could provide will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Calvin

Calvin: Our webmaster is not aware of any Fort Wayne organization retransmitting the ARRL Audio News through a repeater. We welcome you, however, to contact the FWRC board of directors via email at info@fwrc.info.

    Good afternoon
My wife & I are moving to southern Allen County (yoder) at the beginning of June and look forward to becoming involved in the FWRC. My application will be on the way soon. I am also in becoming involved in ARES and have already emailed my applicatioin to Jim Moehring but havene’t heard from hi yet. In the meantime, is there someone who can send my the ounty IC217 so I can start programing rigs?

      Hi Bill,

Welcome to the area! You can find some of the local repeater frequencies in the Allen County HamNews, our monthly newsletter. It is available on this website.

The county ARES team might have the IC217 form. You might contact KB9WWM or N9PAP through their emails addressed posted on qrz.com.

      73,

      Josh W9HT
