Our program is “Building Dipole Antennas for Field Day” and we need lots of help! We have a couple thousand feet of wire, 5 baluns, end connectors, insulators, soldering guns, solder, tape measures (or bring your own equipment) We’ll also have a 25-foot mast outside for raising and trimming/adjusting each dipole to be resonant. Bring your analyzers too . . . it would be fun to see the variety of devices and how they compare!

Want to build your own dipole? We have the wire, all you need is a center connector or balun. You can also solder dipoles directly to coax and they work just fine!

if there’s time, we can make a contact with some of them . . . good time for a “go box”

Enter the church building using door number 2. If possible, arrive no later than 6:30 p.m., so someone will be at the door to let you in. Late arrivals might need to call for assistance on the 146.76 MHz FWRC repeater.

Once inside, proceed to Raasch Hall.
