Please join the Fort Wayne Radio Club this weekend for the biggest event in North American Amateur Radio, Field Day! Here is a brief schedule of upcoming events:
Wednesday night, June 22, there will be a final On The Air planning meeting for Field Day at 7:30 PM EDT on the 146.76 repeater in Fort Wayne. Questions; comments; offers to help; etc. we want to hear from you!
Friday night, June 24, we will meet at Historic Fort Wayne, downtown on Spy Run Ave to begin setup and for our usual QRP night.
Saturday morning, June 25th, we will begin FD setup at the Old Fort. Meet us at 8:30 am EDT at the Fort. Talk in for the weekend will be on the 146.91 repeater and Echolink node at IPFW.
Saturday afternoon, our final operation meeting will be inside the Fort at 1:45 pm to discuss final details for the Field Day operation.
Saturday evening, at 5:30 we will have the Hog Roast and carry-in inside the Fort. If you have a comfortable camp chair, you may wish to bring it. Cost $10.
Sunday morning, 10:00 am, we will have the Field Day Breakfast. Good grub!! Cost $3.
Sunday afternoon, 2:00 pm, FD concludes and take down gets underway. We need all the help we can get to do this safely, so please stop out if you can!
Wow, FD time again already!! OMG… This is a blast so we will see you there! All hams are welcome, stop by and operate.
